  11. but *IT IS NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN*. It may be copied and freely used for
  12. personal recreation or educational purposes only.

  14.   You may distribute this software without further written license
  15. provided you do not charge others for copies of it. Bundling of this
  16. software with merchandise for sale is prohibited without written
  17. permission. Distributors may not modify the program or images in any
  18. manner.

  21.            PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  23.   This program requires Windows(tm) 3.1 or higher and runs as a native
  24. Windows screen saver under the Windows Desktop like the 'Marquee' or
  25. 'Starfield Simulation' programs that Microsoft supplies with Windows
  26. 3.1. A minimum graphics capability of 640x480x256 colors is required,
  27. 800x600x16K or more colors is recommended.

  29.   If you obtained this program on a distribution floppy disk, make a
  30. back-up copy of your distribution disk before proceeding with the
  31. installation. Then, install it from your back-up copy.
  32.  
  33.   If you downloaded this program from a BBS or the Internet, copy the
  34. compressed distribution file scenic10.zip to a floppy disk. After
  35. you've finished installing the Scenic Rocks Screen Saver, you can then
  36. delete scenic10.zip along with the installation files from the
  37. temporary directory on your hard drive where you unzipped them.
  38.  
  39.   To install the Scenic Rocks Screen Saver on your system, simply run
  40. the install.exe file on your distribution disk or in your temporary
  41. installation directory from the Windows Program or File Manager. When
  42. this program installs it will create the directory C:\OUTWEST on your
  43. drive, unless you specify a different path for the program's runtime
  44. files when prompted to do so. It will also create the files
  45. outw8924.scr and outw8924.ini in your C:\WINDOWS directory.

  47.   Should you wish to uninstall this program, simply delete the files
  48. outw8924.scr and outw8924.ini from your C:\WINDOWS directory and delete
  49. the C:\OUTWEST directory (or whatever directory name you optionally
  50. specified during installation) and all of the files under it.
